Swords & Slippers build history

The official installer portal marks 0.0.12 as its newest build. Compare it with 0.0.11 below to see which defensive abilities, Test Run features and settings changed. Older dated posts and portal-only records remain in the timeline; a portal listing does not establish a release date or your account eligibility.

Version 0.0.12

Portal checked 28 September 2026. These are developer-reported changes, not results from an installation or performance test.

Current0.0.12

Start with your character and mode

  • Red Hood: Parry is new in 0.0.12. Do not look for it as an addition in the older 0.0.11 notes.
  • Snow White: Block is the separately named defensive addition. Compare the two abilities →
  • Encounters: Rapier Elite Knight and Dagger Agile Knight are new enemies; Bustling Waterfront and Hillside Grange are new scenes.
  • Existing systems: character switching, enemy AI, performance and effects receive improvements. No measured FPS gain is supplied.

Test Run

Boss, recovery and powers

The portal lists a Huntsman boss encounter, health-regenerating hot springs and a Prophecies test using basic elemental power decks. It does not provide a boss route, healing rate or deck recipe.

Character setup

Selection and customization

Test Run gains a character-select screen and a sliders/skin submenu. The Hack Menu gains per-character slider controls and an Enemy Spawn Manager update. A selection screen alone does not identify the complete selectable roster.

Settings

Charming Mode toggle

The 0.0.12 notes list a Charming Mode toggle in Settings, labelled NSFW On/Off. They do not define which individual scenes it filters; do not treat it as a guarantee that all mature content is removed.

Milestones that are not new builds

The public Patreon archive also lists community milestones after the 0.0.11 post. They are useful context for the project's activity, but they do not change the version number or prove a new playable build.

  • 26 Aug 2026: “300K WISHLISTS IN JUST 3 WEEKS” appears in the official archive.
  • 14 Aug 2026: “100K → 200K WISHLISTS in Just 5 Days!” appears in the official archive.
  • 5 Aug 2026: “WISHLIST SWORDS & SLIPPERS ON STEAM!” appears in the official archive.

Build 0.0.8

The developer switched the graphics API to DirectX 11, describing it as a performance hotfix.

This is a rendering change rather than a new arena or character update. It explains a version gap in the Patreon-post timeline; it does not establish a measured frame-rate improvement on your PC.
